How to search Bible Study Tools

We’ve placed search tools at your fingertips all around the Bible Study Tools site, so you can always find what you’re looking for.

Header Search
Use the “Search Bible Study Tools” bar at the top of each page to perform one or more of the following searches:

1.  Keyword or Bible verse reference search on the Bible - Enter one or more keywords or a Bible verse reference where specified, and select "Bibles" from the drop-down box.  Then click the double arrow button to perform the search.

2.  Keyword or verse reference search on the reference material and articles in the library - Enter keyword or verse reference where specified, and select "Library" from the drop-down box.  Then click the double-arrow button to perform the search.

You can also jump directly to a specific Bible verse by entering the verse reference in the “Jump to” box to the right of the keyword search, and clicking the double arrow button.

Reading Pane Search
When viewing content in the “My BST” reading pane, click on the Search tab at the top of the reading pane.  When the Search tab opens, enter your keyword(s) or verse reference in the box, choose which part of the library you wish to search, and click the double-arrow button to perform the search.  The search results will display in the reading pane, and clicking on any result will bring replace the search results display with the content you selected.

All BST searches show only 500 results at a time.  For tips on improving your BST searches, see "How to improve your BST searches."
