Bible Study Tools overview
Welcome to Bible Study Tools! Our aim is to provide you with the richest Bible study experience and most interactive Bible study tools on the Web. To help you make the most of your Bible Study Tools experience, we want to tell you a little bit about the features of the site.
Search Tools-
You’ll find a “Search Bible Study Tools” box in the header on every page of this site. Simply enter in your keyword, choose to search in either “Bibles” or the rest of the “Library,” and click the double arrows. Or jump directly to a specific Scripture reference by entering it into the “Jump to” box.
You can also explore or search the complete library in “My BST” reading pane area. Keep reading to find out more.
My BST-
The My BST tab is where your Bible reading and studying will take place. Use the tabs at the top of the reading pane to Explore or Search the library and find exactly what you’re looking for. Add a parallel reading pane to look at two Bible translations side by side, or to read a devotional or Bible study guide next to its pertinent Bible text.
Once you’re registered, you have access to 29 Bible translations, 12 commentaries, 3 concordances, 5 dictionaries, 2 encyclopedias and much more – all geared toward helping you understand and apply God’s Word to your life.
And about registration – don’t be frightened. It’s FREE, and we only need you to register so we can help personalize your Bible Study Tools experience. Once you’ve registered with a user name and password, you can do fun and amazing things like:
- Take personal “margin” notes in your own online study Bible
- Highlight and annotate your Bible, just like you would in your hard copy Bible
- Save your Bible reading and annotations preferences
- Use our Bible in a Year reading plan to read through the Bible in one year and keep track of your progress
Make “My BST” your Bible study home on the Web!
Devotionals, Study Resources, Sermon Helps, and other content-
There’s a lot of other content on the site to help meet your Bible study needs. Find daily or weekly devotionals, Bible study guides, articles about how to start studying, sermon illustrations, and Bible study FAQ by clicking through the tabs across the top of the page.
When you’re reading any kind of article, simply click the “Study in My BST” button at the top of the page to view the article text in the “My BST” reading pane, where you can see it side by side with any other text in the BST library.
We welcome your feedback – so don’t hesitate to write and let us know how Bible Study Tools has blessed you, or how we can improve the site.
