La Biblia de las Americas is a Spanish translation of the Scriptures from the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek languages. Completed in 1986 by a team of Latin American evangelical Bible scholars, La Biblia de las Americas uses the Vosotros form of Spanish,presenting the Word of God in a clear and flowing style, while strictly adhering to the original Hebrew and Greek texts. Following the same translation principles set for the New American Standard Bible, La Biblia de las Americas is understandable to a wide, general audience and also suitable for serious study.

LITERAL: La Biblia de las Américas is translated directly from the original Hebrew-Aramaic and Greek texts into Spanish, taking into account each word in these original languages. La Biblia de las Américas translates (does not interpret) the meaning of the words in the original languages, so you may read it with the security and conviction that you are reading the WORD OF GOD.
DEPENDABLE: La Biblia de las Américas was translated literally and objectively so that the words of the original languages are represented with accuracy and clarity. La Biblia de las Américas is the first Bible in Spanish that was produced by an international and interdenominational team of evangelical scholars from all regions of Latin America, and also from Spain, and the United States. It was finished in 1986 after fifteen years of arduous work.
